Which Toothed Drive Belt For Dodge Avenger.

Engine Engine code Year Number of teeth Width Gap division Profile
2.0 ECD 2010 141 30 mm 9.525 N/mm HTDA
2009 141 30 mm 9.525 N/mm HTDA
2008 141 30 mm 9.525 N/mm HTDA
2007 141 30 mm 9.525 N/mm HTDA

First thing to look at is 141 number of teeth and also important width of 30 mm. Wise decision is to buy Dodge’s factory timing belt for Avenger 2.0 to service. Also look at profile type – it’s HTDA, gap division should be 9.525 N/mm. In 2007 and motors having code ECD the company used usual belts. Gas grid system in Dodge Avenger needs good timing belt to run. The size of it in Avenger engines with model code ECD is very important.

  • Remember that HTDA belt type is used in Dodge cars having quite a big motor with 2.0 liters of volume.

  • Don’t try to change 30 mm width and 141 number of teeth for the motor – it’s a bad idea.

  • Reliable timing belts are needed in Dodge Avenger 2.0.

So, make sure you buy for 2009 Dodge Avenger quality materials only. Always buy toothed belt for ECD engine code with recommended width at 30 mm. You may find lots of good analog Dodge Avenger parts made specially for 2.0 motor. It’s impossible to provide 9.525 N/mm gap division with other than HTDA type of belt profile.
