Better use the rims and tires for Nissan 3.0i which are recommended by producer. Make sure the offset of new rims for 2.5i is equal to 35mm. Use 5 original nuts with dimension of 12mm*1.25" to adjust new wheel to Skyline. The original wheel has 7" of width and is 16" in diameter. It’s important to remember the figure of 205/65 R16 215/55 R17 tire dimensions if you want to renew rubbers for Nissan Skyline. If you buy not an original rim, choose 66.1mm of central bore and 114.3mm diameter of placing nuts.

  • And still 16" rims are not huge, so Nissan Skyline doesn’t need lots of power to push.

  • Great stability is also achieved by 7" wide wheels and right offset of 35mm.

  • Nissan Skyline can easily hold the road with 16" diameter of rims.

You’ll need some suspension changes to put not 35mm offset rims and use other than 12mm*1.25" size of nuts. You still need to be careful on Nissan 3.0i with changed characteristics, so use 16" diameter wheels if you want safety. If you put more than 16" wheels to your 2.5i, you may get more petrol consumption. Your new rim for Skyline must be adjusted with 5 nuts and have 66.1mm central hole diameter.
