What Is High Mileage for a Nissan Altima?

If the car has over 210,000 miles on it, then that would be considered high mileage. With that said, if you are willing to keep up with the maintenance of the vehicle through oil changes and tire replacements which are essential in keeping your car running smoothly for a long time. A good way to maintain this is to go by the vehicle's manual. There you will find what type of oil it takes and when you should change it or rotate the tires. This way there are no surprises at some point when something major occurs because you didn't get an oil change on time.

Nissan Altima won't show major problems up until 100 000 miles on the odometer. After that, you may get into trouble with your CVT transmission or timing belt. If the mileage is over 200 000 miles, you better sell the vehicle because it will start causing big troubles for your budget soon.

If you want to avoid high mileage problems, take the car for service every 10 000 miles or once a year. Don't let your car sit without any maintenance because sooner or later you may face some major problems.
