Which Bulbs Of Head Lamps For Mazda CX-5.

Engine Engine code Year Base Type Power Voltage
2.0 2013 PGJ23T-1 H15 55 W 12 V
2012 PGJ23T-1 H15 55 W 12 V
2.2 2013 PGJ23T-1 H15 55 W 12 V
2012 PGJ23T-1 H15 55 W 12 V

Use up-to-date optical devices in Mazda CX-5 2.0 headlight system. Efficient and bright head light in Mazda CX-5 is the reason of safe night drive. Mazda insists on installing only 55 W power of lamps and not more. Though, light bulbs in Mazda headlight in cars with 2.0 motor type might work wrong. Lots of CX-5 owners admit that 12 V lamps tend to be less and less effective. The recommended type is H15 and cap also should have the base PGJ23T-1.

Note that you may choose real power more than 55 W, providing the voltage stays at 12 V. To install new lamp in CX-5 with motor 2.0 relieve bulb holder at the backside of headlight. The obvious thing is that other cap than H15 won’t suit Mazda’s headlight module in 2013 model year. The problems with fitting PGJ23T-1 base bulb in holder may appear with 2012 CX-5.

Capacity of the lamp on the pack should be 55 W and volt feature - 12 V. Note that having bought other bulb than PGJ23T-1 and cap type H15 you won’t fit it into 2013 Mazda. If you replace bulbs in CX-5 with engine 2.0 by yourself, take care. If you keep up with all the rules, 2012 Mazda CX-5 headlights will serve you much more.
