Only exact type of antifreeze will suit Jaguar S-Type cooling system. In 2005 the company produced vehicles with 3.0 engine having code of AJ-V6. Make sure you service system at Jaguar with installed 2.5 engine correctly. In other way 2001 S-Type won’t be used quite long and efficiently. For filling up the system you will use 10.4 liters of special Red coolant type.

  • So, it’s a dye stuff, and the one important thing for 3.0 motors is to keep the amount of liquid at 10.4 liters.

  • Some time ago by looking at antifreeze in 2003 Jaguar S-Type you could know the dominative element.

  • In Red type of liquid was a lot of toxic fluid, but now you still use it in motors with AJ-V8 engines.

Providing you keep the rules 3.0 motor installed in S-Type of 2001 year will be long lasting. It’s obvious that every AJ-V6 motor needs good service as stated by Jaguar in instruction. So, don’t choose different from Red coolant and obey the number of 10.4 liters. It will be advantageous to follow Jaguar’s rules for 1998 S-Type service.
