If you don’t make any changes with Ritmo engine, your Fiat will consume the amount of petrol as stated in documents. Ritmo used engine with 65 hp capacity produced by Fiat. You might note that ecological impact of Diesel CL is fully defined by 60 hp capacity. The producer of Diesel decides it’s enough for the car. Fiat proved the effectiveness of the Ritmo during testing. In other dimension it’s 44 kW output.

  • Currently 77 kW aren’t good enough even for small cars.

  • The universal motor with 130 hp seems to be great choice for 130 TC Abarth.

  • The possibility to rotate motor up to 55 kW gives freedom in driving.

  • But bear in mind that Fiat Ritmo takes quite a lot of fuel.

  • You can’t expect the 105 hp engine of 100 S to be really universal and strong.

  • The unique thing in Diesel CL is great output of 60 hp.

Age and exploitation can reduce output of Fiat’s engine. You can check if Ritmo keeps showing 58 hp output at service station. For 105 TC is also important to have good RPM and appropriate weight for those 105 hp and 77 kW.
