I had this issue of sporadically disconnection of my phone's card from Tesla. finally Tesla's support recommended a simple fix that actually seems to fix the issue: 1. uninstall Tesla app from the phone 2. get into the cart 3. while sitting in the car a. uninstall your phone key from Tesla's keys b. Install Tesla app on your phone from appstore c. add a new phone key on your phone Tesla app
