Otherwise Cherokee made in 2006 won’t serve you long enough. Make sure you service system at Jeep with installed 4.7 engine correctly. It’s better to choose fluid in combination of 2004 year, 4.7 volume of motor and engine code of EVA. To maintain cooling system you need 14.2 liters of Red coolant. For Jeep Cherokee it’s important to have optimal antifreeze inside.

  • Red coolant which is now recommended for EVA code of motor meant a lot of toxic ethylene glycol.

  • It’s really just a dye, and your concern for 4.7 engine is to pour in cooling system about 12.3 liters of fluid.

  • Some time ago by looking at antifreeze in 2005 Jeep Cherokee you could know the dominative element.

So better use Jeep’s advice for servicing 2008 Cherokee. A lot of EVA motors are used long in Jeep cars but only with good service. Produced in 2004 the 2.7 engine in Cherokee model will serve longer by this. So, don’t choose different from Red coolant and obey the number of 12.3 liters.
