When you see this 'check engine' sign on the dashboard of your car, it signals that there is some problem with engine. If you also feel shaking at same time, you may be quite sure that there is some problem with ignition system or fuel burn. In some cars it may also mean that there are troubles with some sensors that control engine work. And we discuss these troubles in our article.

The best way in this situation is to complete a computerized check. Every modern car has a special slot to connect computer to the electronic system of a car. Once you connect the computer and use a special program, you can see the codes of errors occurring in your car in certain situations.

Just write the codes of errors and consult the internet or better use your manuals to get to know what the problem is. If the code say that a certain sensor is broken, just change the sensor and make another check. Sometimes the electronic system in your car will show different codes of errors. This may say about multiply problems with the vehicle.

'Check engine' sign and shaking of the engine usually tell you about the situation when one cylinder in the engine doesn't work. This may also be the problem that is connected with fuel supply system or engine electronics.
