Usually, it's not that hard to get rid of the engine knocks and to avoid car shaking when the engine is stopped. The first thing you'll need to do is to change the gas station. If it doesn't help, you may also want to order full computerized diagnostics of the vehicle. During the investigation you will say for sure what's happening in the engine when it's started and stopped and why it shakes.
Sometimes it's all about different settings of the engine electronic systems. But there are cases when you'll need to change some sensors for avoiding such problems in the future. Make sure you repair your car if you noticed engine knocks. If they continue torturing the engine, it will shorten its lifetime.
