We discussed that the poof of smoke that comes out of the exhaust pipe when you push the gas pedal hard is actually a normal thing. The reason is that at the moment when you push the pedal, the fuel mixture becomes too rich for a moment and some fuel doesn't burn in the combustion chamber. The excessive fuel keeps burning during its way to exhaust pipe and this causes black smoke.

If the puff of smoke is too big, there could be a problem with fuel injection or exhaust filtration. Also, you'll need to check if your vehicle blows off some smoke when idling. If it does, you'll have to pay attention to engine work and consult with specialists at a service station.
